Our Story

 

Salima is born out of the passion of creating something purely natural. Based in Tunis, the creative studio produces handmade art pieces by using traditional techniques. Through her journey, Feriel, Salima’s founder, explores craftsmanship methods, which inspire her to produce authentic artifacts. Using only natural materials, the potteries are made from clay, with emphasis on organic shapes and textures in neutral tones.

At Salima, we ensure the use of only natural products. Our unique pieces are made by women only, following the ancestral tradition, without any machine, in a slow process and outdoor fire, promoting a beautiful natural world. Our pieces are timeless and sustain this heritage.

 

Celebrating traditional craftsmanship and preventing this art from extinction is one of our mission. We want to ensure sustainability is respected.
